build a world, landscapes ( visual exploration.)
I made a page inspired by my design for this lessons project.
I decided to color the clouds in different shades of dark blue and light blue to make it look like the night sky. I also made the moon yellow and the stars are range I did this so that the moon would stand out more than the stars. I used pencils to colour it in I don't use pencils very much but I have decided to start using them as they make your art look very childish and very bright and I am deciding to create children's books and I think it would appeal more to children if the books or more colorful and bright. Whereas I have a hard time with Sharpies and other pens as sometimes they breed or the colors are too dark. So I've decided to try out different materials to see what would fit that aesthetic.
I really enjoyed doing this task where we created a 3D landscape using a leaflets shape as the template. I decided to go with a starry night theme with a moon and two stars and the clouds. This task really inspired me and I'm thinking of trying out doing something along the lines of pop-up books seeing how I would make that and what it would look like as a trial art idea I might even decide later on to make a book that pops up and is movable and you can move things like moveable tabs and stuff like that.
In this lesson we had to create a 3D landscape so I chose to make a starry night themed landscape with moon, stars and clouds.
